Matlock Bath

Built in a dramatic, steep limestone gorge carved by the River Derwent, Matlock Bath has been a popular tourist destination since the Georgian era. With its sweeping riverside stone buildings set against towering, wooded cliffs, it feels like a grand alpine resort dropped into the heart of Derbyshire.
