Specialist care centred on the patient
Great dentistry is a combination of medicine, science, and art, offering patients the chance to correct dental defects, express themselves naturally - through a smile! Led by Harvard-trained prosthodontist Dr. Sam Sherif, the Alexandra Dental Centre delivers expert, sophisticated care tailored to individuals who value a meticulous and attentive approach to their treatment.
The Alexandra Dental Centre is located at the Alexandra Private Hospital, continuing a proud legacy of caring for generations of patients across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire. Our meticulously designed on-site dental practice includes sophisticated computer technology, assisting Dr. Sherif to tailor dental care precisely to your individual needs.
Situated in the centre of Chesterfield, the Alexandra Dental Centre is well served by rail, road, and motorway links, and is only a few minutes walk from Chesterfield Railway Station, and less than half an hour’s journey from Derby, and Sheffield. Though centrally located in the town, the Alexandra Private Hospital’s specific site, set in expansive grounds, offers a quiet and tranquil environment where medical care is tailored to the needs of patients, using the most modern techniques.
Our Approach
Our purpose is not merely the superficial cleaning of your teeth, taking x-rays, and sending you home. Rather, the philosophy of the Alexandra Dental Centre is to strive for excellence in all aspects of patient care. Using only the most modern techniques, and equipment, our goal is to provide swift, superior treatment, with less scope for complications, and less need for expensive, time-consuming follow-up visits. From the moment that you make an enquiry, until long after the completion of your course of treatment, Dr. Sherif strives to ensure that your aspirations are met, and your concerns allayed. Your health, comfort, and satisfaction are his priorities.
Dr. Sherif provides patient care in a gentle and friendly manner, making every effort to allay any of the natural worries that many patients feel about going to the dentist. Before beginning treatment, he gives complete information on your dental health options, and wants you to know that the quality dentistry that he provides is an investment in your health, appearance, and wellbeing.
Crooked or out of place teeth, and jaws that do not close properly or are misaligned can cause pain, discomfort, and dental and gum damage. Such problems can be remedied through the various treatments available at the Alexandra Dental Centre, including veneers, dental implants, one hour teeth whitening, ‘invisible braces’ (Invisalign®), bridges, and comprehensive smile makeovers.
Dr. Sherif can give you a smile that you’ll be happy to show off!
