Vasectomy

A permanent form of male contraception. The tubes that carry sperm from the testes are sealed.

Vasectomy is intended to be permanent. It does not work immediately: another form of contraception is needed until tests confirm that the semen is clear of sperm.

It is usually done as a day-case procedure. Counselling before the operation is part of good care. This page is not an offer of treatment, and the service is not open yet.

The urology service is not open for booking yet. Nothing on this page is an offer of treatment.
