Surgery in the heart of Chesterfield

Eye Surgery

Lenses and laser

Lens replacement, premium implants, and laser vision correction. The aim is clearer sight, with glasses needed less often — and sometimes not at all. What is suitable is decided at consultation.

Lens replacement

The natural lens is replaced with an implant, as in cataract surgery, even when there is no cataract to speak of. It can reduce dependence on glasses for people who are long-sighted, short-sighted, or who have astigmatism, depending on the lens chosen.

Premium implants (toric, multifocal, and similar) are a conversation about trade-offs, not a catalogue. Mr. Mathew will say if they are right for your eyes.

Laser vision correction

LASIK, LASEK, and PRK reshape the cornea with a laser so that light focuses more clearly. Suitability depends on the cornea, the prescription, and your age. That is measured at consultation, not guessed from a webpage.
